Craig Horvath - Independent Contractor
My name is Craig Horvath, and I am an independent contractor and the Principal Consultant at Performance Measurement Solutions.
I founded Performance Measurement Solutions in 2011 recognizing the industry need for assisting firms in their desire to become GIPS Compliant. Prior to starting Performance Measurement Solutions, I worked for 3 investment firms ranging from a broker-dealer structure to a large, institutional investment manager. In 25+ years in the investment management industry I have since worked with/in firms ranging from: 1 to 100s of employees, 75-5000 accounts of all types and asset classes, and assets under management ranging from $250m to $70b.
During the course of my career, I have learned that the proper implementation of your Operational functions and processes has a direct impact on your performance results. During this time I have worked with over a dozen portfolio accounting, CRM, trading, billing, attribution, performance, and composite management platforms which allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the entire investment operations process/lifecycle. My performance-focused Operational expertise and specialized project management skills are crucial in assisting firms in their understanding of why everything affects their Firm’s overall data integrity & performance returns.
Engagement with an experienced professional with knowledge of the entire investment operations process/lifecycle is crucial and beneficial to the overall efficient operations of an investment management firm. Having worked with over a dozen portfolio accounting, CRM, trading, billing, attribution, performance, and composite management platforms has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the entire investment operations process/lifecycle.
From 2020-2023 I served as a member of the GIPS Standards Interpretations Subcommittee, which is responsible for developing technical guidance, interpretations, clarifications and supporting authoritative guidance for the GIPS Standards.
I have provided a few Testimonials from previous colleagues and clients that I hope you will find useful.
If I can be of any assistance to your Firm, I am open to a discussion at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Craig Horvath, CIPM, CAPM
